Located on the shores of the majestic Lake Titicaca, Copacabana is one of the most iconic destinations in the Bolivian Altiplano. This picturesque town combines history, spirituality, and breathtaking landscapes that captivate every visitor. In this activity we will visit the Basilica of Copacabana, a 16th century colonial temple that houses the famous Virgin of Copacabana, patron saint of Bolivia, its Moorish-Andean Renaissance style architecture, the local markets offer an authentic experience among stalls of Andean fruits, totora totora crafts, colorful fabrics and traditional amulets, the Island of the Sun, cradle of the Inca civilization there will be a stop at the Pilkokaina Palace, an Inca ceremonial structure, built with carved and perfectly assembled stone, this palace offers a privileged view of the lake and an atmosphere full of mysticism the tour to Yumani, you ascend the Inca Steps, an ancient stone path surrounded by agricultural terraces at the top are the famous Three Fountains of the Inca, where according to legend the water of eternal youth springs forth visitors often drink from them to renew energy and the Chinkana, known as the “labyrinth "del Inca," a complex structure of passageways and walls that would have served as a ceremonial center. And visit the Sacred Rock and the Footsteps of the Sun.

Day 1 La Paz – Copacabana - Isla del Sol
Pick up from your hotel between 7:00 and 7:45 AM (center only) to transfer to the bus station for Copacabana. Along the way, there is a mandatory stop to cross the Strait of Tiquina (ferry). Passengers must cross by small boat for safety reasons, while the bus takes a large one. Once across, we take the bus back to Copacabana. This journey takes about 4 hours, including the ferry. Once we arrive, we can visit the Copacabana Basilica and the traditional markets. Afterward, we will enjoy a delicious typical regional dish for lunch. We will then take the boat to the southern part of Isla del Sol, visiting the Pilkokaina Palace, the Yumani Staircase, and the three Inca fountains. Overnight on Isla del Sol.

Day 2 Isla del Sol – Copacabana - La Paz
We'll wake up very early to watch the sunrise, then return to our accommodation for breakfast. We'll then take a 2- to 3-hour hike to the northern part of the island. We'll visit the archaeological ruins of Chinkana, the Sacred Rock, and the Footsteps of the Sun. After this visit, we'll walk a little further until we reach the coast, where our boat will be waiting to take us back to Copacabana. We'll continue by bus to La Paz, arriving at approximately 10:00 p.m.
