Salar de Uyuni is located in Potosi´s Department, the largest and highest salt desert in the world.
The surface area is 10,582 km2 and its height is 3650 m.a.s.l.
It has become one of the best natural attractions managing to show its great extension of salt and the largest lithium reserve in the world. In addition, it became part of the past cultures (Tiwanaku and Incas) that left us with prestige in this place thanks to its great Islands that exist in the desert.
Day One: La Paz - Uyuni
8:00 PM Transfer from hotel (city center only) to the bus station.
9:00 PM Bus from La Paz to Uyuni for approximately 10 hours.
Day Two: Uyuni - La Paz
6:00 AM Pickup from the bus station in Uyuni.
10:00 AM Departure of the tour to the train cemetery. Then, our driver-guide will take us to the town of Colchani, where you will have time to visit the souvenir shops. We will then continue the route to the salt flats, beginning to see piles of salt and unique landscapes on the planet, until we reach the Plaza de las Banderas, with a stop to appreciate this adventure. Afterwards, we will go to Incahuasi Island while the group explores and hikes. Our driver-guide will prepare lunch for you upon your return. Once you have enjoyed this adventure, we will return to the town of Uyuni at approximately 6:30 PM.
9:00 PM Bus from Uyuni to La Paz for approximately 10 hours
Day Three: La Paz
Approximately 6:00 AM, arrival in the city of La Paz at the bus terminal.
8:00 PM Transfer from hotel (city center only) to the bus station.
9:00 PM Bus from La Paz to Uyuni for approximately 10 hours.
Day Two: Uyuni - La Paz
