Buhos Tours is a travel agency located in La Paz, Bolivia. We began in 1999, organizing trips, excursions, crossings, and tours throughout Bolivia. We began operating the attractions of Tiwanaku, Chacaltaya, and Valle Luna as our strong suit, and we continue to do so today. We want to make it easier for our clients to access all the information they need about our tourism services. Why should you book with us?
Our travel agency has been working with tourism services since 1999, gaining extensive experience along the way. This is how we like to organize trips where you can enjoy Bolivia with complete safety and the experience we have gained.
How can I book with you?
To make a reservation for the activity you like, follow these steps. Select the activity you are interested in. You will find all the tour information. Once you have selected it, click "BOOK NOW." The calendar will then appear. SELECT THE DATE of your trip for that activity. For some tours, you must select the type of service you want and/or the departure time. Once selected, you must ADD THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE who will be using that service and click CONTINUE. A form will then appear that you must fill out with the details of the traveling passenger. Once completed, click BUY. Finally, you will be asked for your email address and payment by credit card.
Is payment secure through the website?
Our payment platform is reliable and secure.
Is my information secure?
Yes! Your information is secure. We only need your information to process the reservation so we can contact you if there are any changes to your booking when the activity takes place. It also makes it easier for us to provide you with more convenience during pick-up times for some services.
I think I made the payment, but I didn't receive a confirmation?
It's quite possible that the payment wasn't completed for various reasons if you haven't received a ticket for your activity yet. Therefore, you should fill out the information we requested again and complete this process correctly. If you find that you were charged, please contact us.
When will my confirmation for the service I paid for arrive?
Confirmation should be provided immediately after receiving your ticket and payment receipt. Or perhaps your email address is incorrect, in which case you should contact us. Or perhaps the activity information and payment were not completed correctly.
Do I need to print my ticket or can I show the activity I paid for from my phone?
In some cases, if you need to print it, we'll let you know via email that you've been registered. For activities we haven't notified you, you can present it via your phone.
Can I change the travel date of my activity?
Yes, of course, as long as it's at least 72 hours in advance so you don't incur extra charges. However, if you opted for a package that relies on subcontracting, you may incur some charges. If you want to change your ticket and get more information, you should write to us indicating the activity or service and the date.
What happens if I don't show up for the scheduled activity?
If you have notified us in advance, we can change the date and availability of the service. Or if you forgot to let us know that you won't be able to travel, this will be considered a "No Show." Failure to show up at the scheduled time and place for the activity will result in no refund.
What is the language of the activity?
Most of our tours are organized with guides speaking Spanish and English. This is usually described in the activity information.

What is the meeting point for my activity?
This is usually described in the information for the activity you selected.
If it is not available or your hotel is located outside the city center, please let us know your hotel or place of stay so we can provide more information about the meeting point.
Where does the tour or activity end?
You can find this information in the description of your activity. Most tours end in the city center for group tours.
If you choose a private tour, it will be up to you or where previously agreed.
